About exporting filtered output

During the Analyze phase, you can export data for further review outside of Epiq Discovery. After filtering the documents to export, use an export template to define the fields you want to include in the data file, the deduplication method, and the output format. You can export any of the following output.

  • .DAT load file
  • Text folder with a .LST file
  • Native folder with the native files

When you complete the export, the Export job runs in the Jobs Overview. When the export job successfully completes, the output is available for you to download using the Epiq Discovery Desktop Client application. The Desktop Client, which runs on your computer, enables you to download the exported output from the Epiq Discovery webserver to a local directory. Then, you can transfer the files to a third-party product as needed.
